Historically, cowpea has been treated as a low-value subsistence crop. Kagezi Seeds is shifting this narrative. By bridging the gap between seed breeding and consumer product development, we are creating a reliable value chain for smallholders.

We process our seeds into premium consumer products locally. This processing creates high-value markets for our contracted outgrower farmers, ensuring that they earn more than they would by selling raw grains on the commodity market.

The Chisamba Factory

Nutrava is proudly produced at our specialized manufacturing facility in **Chisamba, Zambia**. Our factory employs **over 30 people** from the local community, supporting production engineering, quality control, packaging, marketing, and distribution. Every bottle of Nutrava represents local industrial growth, job creation, and rural empowerment.
