Kagezi Seed Company participated at this year’s Zambia Agricultural Research Institute’s Open and Field Day held on 24th March 2024 in Mount Makulu Agricultural Research Center.
The Event held annually serves as an opportunity for seed and agricultural marketing companies to showcase their products and services. A number of local companies where at hand to showcase their seeds varieties and various services they offer to farmers and the general public.
And Kagezi as a newcomer also took this opportunity to showcase their seeds and talk about Climate Resilient Agriculture. We showcased a total of 20 varieties of seeds among them.
- Sorghum (2 varieties)
- Millet (1 Varieties)
- Sunflower (1 Variety)
- Bean (8 Varieties)
- Sugar Beans (2 Varieties)
We saw a lot of interest from farmers across the country which prompted us to begin the process of opening a retail shop for easy access. At the moment, Kagezi sell seeds from our Head Office in Silverest Area.
